painted sculpture
I've been exploring sculpture again, after almost 10 years away from it. Finding a new space for painting and sculpture in my practice has been really fulfilling. I'm focusing on using materials that allow me to keep my work accessible.
These are really fun to work on and I'm always open to custom ideas, or if something is gone before you got to it, I'm happy to recreate with some tweaks!

An ode the the shared experience that is dating men on apps. I've been out of the game for over 7 years but everyone loves a man-holding-fish moment, yeah?
Pesc Appeal is acrylic on an upcycled frame, hardboard backing, and custom carved rigid foam board.
P.S. the title is a [pesc]atarian twist on "sex appeal",
I thought it was funny.

tangled up in color
These two paintings are the remaining pieces in what was originally a tryptich but can live on as inidividuals or a pair! Meant to be displayed with blue on the left, it feels like two separate moods thanks to the contrast in colors. Tying them together is the tone-on-tone swirl that spreads across all pieces.
